Zum 01. November 2020 übergibt Matthias Heck die Aufgaben als Chief Financial Officer und Arbeitsdirektor der Steigenberger Hotels AG an Dr. Ulrich Johannwille (Foto). Zuletzt gestaltete Heck als Teil des Vorstands gemeinsam mit Thomas Willms den Shareholder-Wechsel der Deutschen Hospitality auf die Huazhu Hotels Group. Nachfolger Johannwille ist seit 2006 in führenden Positionen bei der Condor Flugdienst GmbH tätig, davon mehr als 10 Jahre als Chief Financial Officer der Airline. Von 2013 bis 2019 verantwortete er zusätzlich als Finance Director die Finanzbereiche der vier internationalen Thomas Cook Group Airlines. Vor seiner Zeit bei Condor war Johannwille Unternehmensberater für die McKinsey & Company. Sein Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster schloss er 2000 als Dr. rer. pol. ab.
