Willem van der Zee neuer COO für EVENT

Willem van der Zee ist Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) für die EVENT Hotels. In seiner neuen Position übernimmt der 52-jährige die operative Steuerung aller Häuser der Gruppe in Europa. Der Niederländer absolvierte während seiner bisherigen Laufbahn verschiedene Stationen bei der Radisson Hotel Group, zuletzt als Area Vice President Central Europe. Von 2015 bis 2017 führte er die Geschäfte der Lapithus Hotel Management, Frankfurt. Vor seinem Wechsel zu EVENT war van der Zee projektmäßig für die IHG Hotels Japan tätig.

EVENT managt und betreibt 86 Hotels mit zusammen 15.000 Zimmern und befindet sich auf Expansionskurs in Europa. Zuletzt übernahm das Unternehmen das Management der K+K Hotels.
