Die Amadeus IT Group, S. A., weist für die ersten drei Monaten des Geschäftsjahrs 2018 einen bereinigten Gewinn von 305,6 Millionen Euro aus, was einer Steigerung um 4,3 Prozent gegenüber dem vergleichbaren Vorjahreszeitraum entspricht. Der Umsatz erhöhte sich um 3,1 Prozent auf 1,23 Milliarden Euro, das EBITDA um 7,4 Prozent auf 539,0 Millionen Euro. Die Finanzergebnisse des Quartals wurden durch die Abwertung des US-Dollars gegenüber dem Euro beeinträchtigt, allerdings blieb der zugrundeliegende Geschäftsverlauf sehr stark. Ohne Berücksichtigung von Wechselkurseffekten stiegen Umsatz und EBITDA um eine hohe einstellige Wachstumsrate. Luis Maroto (Foto), President und Chief Executive Officer von Amadeus sprach von einer „soliden operativen Leistung unserer Geschäftsbereiche“.
